Requirements

  • Either a 𝗹𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗽 or 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽 with an internal/external webcam and microphone. Mobile devices such as phones or tablets will not be allowed.
  • Spreadsheet and presentation viewing/editing program such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Numbers, Keynote, etc.
  • A stable internet connection is recommended (such as Fiber Wi-Fi) and a minimum connection of LTE for mobile broadband users. It is recommended to have 8GB data allowance/promo per day for those with data allocation limits (prepaid cellular/mobile data).

  • Download Zoom to your desktop/laptop.

Course Overview

COSH training is the mandatory 40-hour training course required for safety officers employed in the construction industry under RA 11058 “An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS)”, its IRR DOLE Department Order No. 198, Series of 2018, and DOLE DO 13-98: Guidelines Governing Safety and Health in the Construction Industry. This training aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills in performing safety audits, assessment and analysis of hazards and risks in the construction industry, determining appropriate control measures, and developing and implementing OSH policies and programs
